I'm A Book Shark

Freelance copyeditor to all amazing self-published and independent authors. Check out my editing page for more information. <3 Mickey is the blogger behind I’m A Book Shark. She really wishes there was a better explanation for why she’s a book shark. A new twitter name was needed, and it had to be about her favorite hobby: reading! For whatever reason, sharks also came to mind, and a book shark was born. Besides reading, Mickey is a natural reddish-headed, late-twenties, tattooed, entertainment-of-all-kinds lover, wife of husband, mother of reptiles (and a cat and two puppies, all spoiled), student, employee, boss, and (mostly) raw vegan. Oh yeah, and she likes to blog. www.imabookshark.com

Walking Disaster - Jamie McGuire I'm having a hard time reconciling this book review with the one I wrote about its predecessor. I hated almost everyone in that book. I was so annoyed with everyone's stupid decisions and lack of respect for themselves and others. But hearing this from Travis's perspective shifted things for me. I still hated Abby, but I didn't hate Travis as much. I felt for him a bit. He still was out of control, but it made more sense sometimes. Abby just.. meh.

Either way, I liked this book a whole lot more than Beautiful Disaster. I didn't want to turn it off all the time like I did with that one. So if you couldn't stand BD like me, then perhaps you should try to give this one a chance. PLUS, the epilogue was really satisfying to me. I actually enjoyed it a lot.
