I didn't think this one was too bad. It had a different kind of plot to it. It was young adult, so it was a little over the top and immature at times, but that's how it goes in this genre. It wasn't a book that I was able to relate to very much, but it was different. I love Meg Cabot's adult novels, so this wasn't very exciting for me. I didn't think it was terrible though. Convenient things happened to make it all go according to plan, but again.. that's the genre. Just a little far-fetched, but that's why it's fiction. Anything can happen, right?
Not one of her best, that's for sure. I did enjoy the similarities to King Arthur's tales and the bit of a twist at the end. Cabot just has better things to offer than this one.
