I really got sucked into this book from the beginning. Jenna Fox wakes up from a coma and has no idea who she is anymore. She spends the first half of the book trying to find out. And the answers she receives are astounding. This is definitely a sci-fi type book, so it won't be at all what you think!
This book was inspired by the author's own daughters who were diagnosed with cancer. The whole novel explores how far a parent will go for their child, what risks they are willing to take, and the ethics that go with their choices.
I enjoyed the mystery, all the twists and turns, and even the science behind this story. It turned out to be very unpredictable, but the end left me wanting a bit more. I can't even imagine something like this novel, so I appreciated the creativity and imagination.
