Whoa. I was definitely not thrilled with this one at the beginning. I didn't really care about a semi re-telling of Little Red Riding Hood. But this one became more and more interesting as it progressed, and even though it was slightly predictable, by the end I was glad that I read it. And I even think I will read on in this series with SWEETLY. We'll see, though. This isn't a must-read, but it's not a bad read.
I liked that it was told in first person, present tense. It's also a novel told by alternating points of view. The two sisters, Scarlet and Rosie, tell their sides of the story separately which helps you understand this book a bit better. I almost wish there would have been a Silas chapter, but that's okay. This was still a good one.
